Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya stars alongside The Walking Dead’s Steven Yuen and the excellent Keke Palmer. Don’t see this one alone!

Nope will grace cinema screens on July 22, 2022.

4. Thor: Love and Thunder

Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder has been highly anticipated following the brilliant Thor: Ragnarok. Stepping away from the multiverse of madness, Waititi reunites us with our favourite Norse god.

This time, however, Thor isn’t the only one harnessing great power. Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster, who has become Mighty Thor since we last saw her in Thor: The Dark World.

Thor: Love and Thunder will ignite cinema screens on July 8, 2022.

3. Shazam 2: Fury of the Gods

Black Adam isn’t the only DC Comics god on the scene this year. David Sandberg’s Shazam sequel will see the lovable hero battle powerful villains Kalypso (Lucy Liu) and Hespera (Helen Mirren) as they aim to extinguish the Shazam Family.

Zachary Levy and Asher Angel will portray Billy Batson / Shazam once more, diving into Batson’s struggles with growing up and saving the innocent.

Shazam: Fury Of The Gods releases on December 21, 2022.

2. Avatar: The Way of Water

James Cameron’s Avatar sequel is shaping to be an enormous event for film fans everywhere. The original film obliterated the box office thanks to its astonishing visual effects and engrossing world.

The second of five sequels will pick up the story over a decade later. Things have changed drastically for the Navi civilization, but their peace won’t last forever.

Avatar: The Way Of Water debuts in cinemas on December 16, 2022.

1. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

It’ll be a bittersweet moment when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as Ryan Coogler’s continuation arrives two years after Chadwick Boseman’s passing. Details of how the Black Panther sequel will address this are unknown, but we’re sure it’ll be a worthy sendoff for one of the MCU’s best characters.

Black Panther was last seen in Avengers: Endgame, as King T’Challa thwarted the forces of Thanos in a bid to save the universe.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is estimated to debut in December 2022.
