The internet has just gone into overload thanks to a 50 second clip uploaded to the official Ubisoft North America YouTube channel.

The clip looks like it could be teasing a new Far Cry game, and if not, we’re looking at a brand-new something or other, because none of what’s seen in the clip looks familiar…
Check it out below and let us know what you think!

It’s not been too long since the release of Far Cry 5, which launched earlier this year. However, we know that Ubisoft doesn’t really dilly-dally when it comes to its Far Cry releases, with the likes of Far Cry Dragonblood and Far Cry Primal filling in the gaps between its more focused titles.
Maybe we’re looking at DLC rather than a brand-new game…?

The good news is we don’t have too long to wait to find out, as The Game Awards 2018 is right around the corner.
The Game Awards 2018 will – according to present Geoff Keighley – put a bigger focus on awards, the ever-popular live gaming orchestral performance and will expand on how you can vote for your favourite games – this time even using your Amazon Alexa to speak to the stream.
It’s been revealed that we can expect at least 10 new game announcements from the event – will a new Far Cry be one of them?
Far Cry is apparently Fallout now. I love how that franchise can just become whatever it wants, from Blood Dragon to Primal and everything in between.
