Sony Grabs Up Indie Title The Swapper

Sony loves the indie video game community and one title that the company was eager to grab up was the hit PC titleĀ The Swapper. You may have seen The Swapper last year when it debut on PC by Facepalm Games. This is a puzzle side-scrolling video game where players are left stranded on a space station. The ultimate goal is to escape the space station and that can be accomplished by exploring different areas for orbs to unlock doors.

The Swapper has been a success on the PC platform and today we’re learning that the Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and the Vita will get this puzzle game this May. Facepalm games are working on the port with Curve Studios and it should be a hit on the Sony consoles and handheld as well.

In the past few years indie titles have been a phenomenon. Through different sources like Kickstarter, developers are finally able to make games that not only they feel would be a successful and fun title play but gamers as well. We’re sure there will be plenty more indie games hitting the market for you to enjoy by the time The Swapper comes out this May.
