PlayStation 4 has a pretty simple and plain PSN store design. This doesn’t mean that the PSN store is really bad but it isn’t sophisticated or good looking enough for many gamers.
Things however can change soon as it seems like Sony is planning to change the PS4 PSN Store design. For a brief moment on March 8, Sony updated the PSN Store by mistake. The update changed the overall look of the Store with a change in the game page which lists every game’s features, storage requirements in a more clear way.
Each game on the Store also has multiple pages relating to the game itself starting from the main page to Media, Details, Add-ons, Bundles, Avatars, Themes and Recommendations and even a high resolution trailer of the game plays in the background. These tabs can be scrolled using the left stick or the D-pad.
The update was taken down quickly by Sony but DualShockers managed to get some screenshots. It is certain that Sony is not ready with the update yet and all we can do is hope that we get the access to the new look PSN Store soon.
Here are a few more screenshots grabbed by DualShockers.
