Hot Tub Streamer Amouranth Has Bought A Pool Toy Company

Twitch streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth‘ Siragusa, who led the charge in the Hot Tub Meta last year, has invested in a pool toy business venture.

Amouranth made headlines last year when she and a bunch of fellow streamers began broadcasting from the comfort of their own pools. It saw them relaxing in inflatable pools while talking to users in their chat. It caused controversy in the streaming space with some labelling the practice “trash” and “obviously sexualised”. Amouranth even had her stream advertising revenue revoked removed at one point. Twitch ended up adding an official Hot Tub category, saying that being seen as “sexy” isn’t against the rules.

While the streamer has moved on from streaming in a hot tub, it seems she’s returning to old territory. Amouranth announced on Twitter that she’s purchased an inflatable pool toy company. According to her tweet, the company manufactures all sorts of ““consumer pool paraphernalia [and] accessories”.

Amouranth is no stranger to these sorts of business ventures and has clearly done her research. She says that the company pulls in around $15 million in annual revenue. Apparently, Amouranth bought the company for a little under that at around $10 million. She’s adding it to her business venture portfolio, and it doesn’t seem like she’s stopping here.

Last year, Amouranth purchased her own petrol station in a bizarre career swerve. She’s also teasing a new project with Twitch streamer Ludwig. Late last year, the two went back on forth on whether Amouranth would develop her own range of adult toys. It seems like we might hear more about that development soon.
