Tactical WW2 shooter Hell Let Loose is finally expanding beyond PC as it announces an exclusive PlayStation 5 beta is on the way.
Just last month it was revealed that Hell Let Loose was finally leaving early access. The game faced a long road to launch, selling one million copies along the way. And with a new Russian forces update on the way, it seems as though the future is bright for the shooter.
Expanding even further, Black Matter Games have finally announced that Hell Let Loose will be making its way to consoles, beginning with a beta exclusive to PlayStation 5.
LET LOOSE ON PS5
Sadly, Black Matter wasn’t able to give a date on when the beta would be launching. However, the studio announced that details on how to sign up for the beta will arrive in the next couple of weeks.
While Black Matter has been sparse on details beyond this initial tweet, it reaffirms the games intended next-gen only release. This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as Hell Let Loose is a graphical powerhouse that supports up to 100 players in epic battles.
Console launch is planned for some time in 2021 and the beta announcement hopefully cements that. However, Hell Let Loose will face tough competition, as the upcoming Call of Duty Vanguard is another shooter set in WW2 scheduled for release later this year.
Hopefully we’ll have more definitive dates soon. Black Matter has stated its intention to continue supporting the game, and a console release will likely give it plenty of incentive to do so. It’ll be closely watching games like Splitgate, which has seen momentous success since launching on consoles.
