The Evil Within will be releasing one week early which was confirmed by Bethesda. Originally, The Evil Within was set to release in August of this year but a sudden delay caused the game to set back until October 21, 2014. Though it appears the game will be ready a week earlier than expected.
The Evil Within was delayed and set for release on October 21, 2014. The reason behind the delay was Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series, asked for more time with the game. Now it seems that the development went smoother than imagine which allows the game to release on October 14, 2014 in North America.
After the North America release, The Evil Within will start to hit other markets starting with October 16, 2014 in Australia and in Europe on October 18, 2014 according to Bethesda. Gamers can pick The Evil Within on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
