Game of War: Fire Age

We’ve all seen the commercials. TheLegend27. Kate Upton in a roman style tunic. Game of War: Fire Age’s massive success is the work of their amazing and incredibly aggressive marketing campaign and a crazy amount of microtransactions in game.
However, for a game that grosses an estimated $1.5m a DAY, Game of War: Fire Age is a pretty lackluster game. The graphics are nothing special, the gameplay is nothing unique, and the game itself is very, VERY boring and slow unless you pay out ridiculous sums to speed up the construction of your buildings, the training of your soldiers, and many other in game interactions. It’s a scam, but a damn good one at that.
Aliens: Colonial Marines

Aliens: Colonial Marines was the No Man’s Sky of yesteryear. There was so much hype surrounding the game after an excellent demo at E3 2011 that gamers saved up some money to buy the title when it came out. However, even though the game sold 1.31 million copies (a very respectable number), it was absolute garbage.
In fact, it was so bad that the companies responsible for the game were sued by some angry players. The game’s development was plagued with issues surrounding bugs and storyline. The creative control of the game changed hands way too many times for the storyline to be coherent, and the game had game-breaking bugs. It’s widely considered to be one of the worst games of the past 10 years.
