Walton Goggins Rumoured To Star In Fallout Series As A Ghoul

Walton Goggins is set to lead Amazon Prime Video’s adaptation of Fallout, Deadline reports.

While details of Goggins’ character are scarce and barely available, he’s believed to be playing a Ghoul. The series is due to begin production later this year, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serving as showrunners. Jonathan Nolan is set to direct the first episode of the series, with news to come on other directors and writers of the series. While it’s due to begin production this year, there’s still no news on when it’ll premiere.

The Fallout franchise is one that companies have been trying to adapt for years now thanks to the wide breadth of material available and the endless possibilities of adapting a post apocalyptic world. Not until now, however, has one been successful to actually enter production. We’ll have to wait and see how Amazon will approach the show and what format it takes.

Goggins is currently starring on The Righteous Gemstones, but Marvel Cinematic Universe fans may know him as Sonny Burch from Ant-Man & The Wasp. He also voices Cecil Stedman in Amazon Prime Video’s adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s Invincible, and had a guest role in NBC’s community as the lawyer of Chevy Chase’s Pierce Hawthorn. Goggins is a wonderfully versatile actor and to see him take on a character in Fallout will no doubt be an incredibly fun time.
