In the previous release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, many have complained to Kojima Productions that the main story mission was easily playable in under two hours. In a recent interview with Game Informer, creator Hideo Kojima gave insight on how the upcoming, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is going to be more extensive than the series before.
Kojima has created the game to be playable by anyone, in regards to how much time they want to spend on it. The player has the option to play the missions short or long because they have structured the story to be like chapters in a TV episode. You can either play only the main mission or you can also play the chapters to get more in depth with the story. No matter which way you play it, the character will link to the entire story.
“When you put it all together it creates a huge story.”
Today, he sent a message out on his twitter saying:
“The reason why I release the prologue w next gen release is so that I want u to see the future of what the next gen game feels like.”
It seems that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was just what Kojima Productions needed to complete the upcoming better game, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
No word of the release date yet, keep checking back on all things Metal Gear Solid.
