Sony is preparing to release their upcoming service known as PlayStation Now. This new service will grant gamers the ability to log online through a cloud based storage and play several popular PS3 titles without the need of downloading. Now the service has no official launch date quite yet but the closed beta is out now. One user just happened to film his beta experience and we get the chance to see the service in action.
PlayStation Now for beta users has a total of 10 PlayStation 3 titles. The games up for play are the following.
- Dead or Alive 5
- Killzone 3
- Puppeteer
- Shadow of The Colossus
- Papa & Yo
- Darksiders II
- Disgaea 4
- Ninja Gaiden 3
- MX vs. ATV: Alive
- Shatter
From the video we can see the beta users log into PlayStation Now Beta and scroll through a list of games. The game chosen for play was Killzone 3 though connecting to the game did take about two minutes but again this is just a beta phase of the feature. We’re sure it will likely improve but for the most part, Killzone 3 seemed to run just fine. For now, this is the only beta video posted on PlayStation Now.
