Bad news keeps coming for No Man’s Sky. SteamSpy has reported that the game has lost nearly 90% of its player base on PC already.
The much anticipated game has seen a dive in the userbase within the very first couple of weeks since its release. The concurrent number of players per hour has also decreased significantly which indicates that the players who have bought the game aren’t playing the game much anymore.

Although there is an increase in the sales of the game, the number of people streaming the game on Twitch has also decreased. The game had an initial take off which failed to materialize in the long run.
When we look at some of the numbers, No Man’s Sky fails to deliver up to the expectation. The game had great hype which was responsible for the initial burst. However, the average playtime of the game summed up to be only sixteen hours, which is considered to be comparatively low. This means the players who bought or started playing the game didn’t play the game a lot.

No Man’s Sky has raised various questions among the fans including Sony’s refund policy. A lot of fans think that the game is overhyped and under delivered. However, developer Hello Games have promised that the fans would get a better game when PS4 Neo launches.
