Remember Nike’s PlayStation sneakers? They sold out shockingly quickly and then disappeared from the face of the earth, which was pretty sad TBH.
Occasionally pairs do pop up online, but if you want a pair of the original PlayStation/Nike light-up sneakers then you can expect to be paying a lot more than the RRP.
The quick sales of the first sneakers drop seem to have inspired Sony and Nike into action though, as images of the companies’ new PlayStation sneakers have leaked online.
This time around we’re getting two pairs – one grey pair that clearly represent the classic PlayStation One console, and a white pair with pink bits for some reason. Both are part of the Paul George collection.
Posting the images to Twitter, py_rates wrote: “Check out the official pics of the @Nike x @PlayStation PG 2.5 (GS)….yes you read that right GS.
“Both the Grey & White colour way will be releasing in Mens & GS sizing.
“The GS pair will retail for $90. What do you make of this new colourway? Let us know.”

It’s expected the sneakers will be released just in time for Christmas, with sources reporting a launch date of 7th December 2018.
Whether or not that’s set in stone is unknown, but whenever they launch you’d better act fast if you want to secure yourself a piece of gaming/Nike history.
What do you think of the new offerings from Nike? Which of these pairs of Nikes would you most like to get your hands on?
