LGBTQIA+ Calling Cards Arrive In Warzone To Celebrate Pride Month

Raven Software, the custodian of Call of Duty: Warzone, has added eight new LGBTQIA+ themed calling cards to celebrate Pride month.

The new calling cards are all designed by members of the LGBTQIA+ community. They celebrate Pride by enabling Warzone players to show their support for the marginalised community.

There’s some familiar designs in the bunch. The Progress Pride flag, designed by Daniel Quasar, is one of the new calling cards added. It’s a modern redesign of the classic Pride flag that includes Black, Brown and Trans colours to represent those respective communities.

The calling cards are expected to arrive next week in Wednesday’s big Warzone update. They won’t be purchasable items and will be added to everyone’s inventory for free.

Raven Software say:

“Diversity and inclusion are important to us and we are excited to expand our in-game representation of LGBTQIA+ identities in honour of Pride month.”

Other games have also added in-game items to celebrate Pride month. Most notably, Apex Legends recently added the Progress Pride flag as an equippable emblem for all players.

Apex Legends is still ahead of the game when it comes to representation. It includes openly gay, lesbian, pansexual, and nonbinary characters.
