Warner Bros has finally unveiled the release date of Hogwarts Legacy, the Harry Potter themed RPG – and it’s coming out later this year!
Earlier this evening, Sony hosted a State of Play dedicated to Hogwarts Logic, the upcoming RPG title from Avalanche. With 20-minutes of brand new gameplay and a commentary from the developers, if gave Potter fans of glimpse of what they can expect. It’s safe to say that we’re all very excited about it.

When is the Hogwarts Legacy Release Date?
With all of this new gameplay for us to get excited about, all we needed to know next was when we’d get our hands on the elusive game. Warner Bros had previously planned to release Hogwarts Legacy in 2021, but it was pushed back, likely due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
A later statement clarified that the game would release in 2022, but didn’t specify an exact date. A preliminary release date for the official art book also pointed towards a 2022 release date, but we couldn’t be totally sure.
Now, we have official clarification on when the anticipated game will roughly release. Mark your calendars for Holiday 2022. We’re already counting down the days! We just hope that the delays to the game haven’t resulted in a loss of quality.
