Halo TV Series Release Date Revealed In Shiny New Trailer

A new trailer for the Halo TV series on Paramount+ has dropped, showing more of what we can expect from the show – and a release date.

The Halo TV series has been teased with shorter clips, but this is the biggest trailer we’ve had so far. It shows a lot of new things, including our first look at Cortana, Master Chief fighting some elites, and more.

The show premieres exclusively on Paramount+ on March 24th. You can take a look at the trailer yourself below.

The show stars Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, and Cortana’s original voice actress Jen Taylor returns to play the famous A.I.

What’s New In The Halo TV Series?

Now that we’ve seen our first glimpse of show Cortana, we can see she looks a lot different to the games. Some have criticised the design for being too different to the original. They decided to make her a different colour, perhaps to differentiate this version of Cortana from the games since they share the same voice.

We also got to hear Master Chief’s voice in the show for the first time. It sounds different to Steve Downes in the games, but personally I think it works. Not only is this Chief seemingly younger, but it helps that the actor isn’t just trying to do a Downes impression the whole time. Hopefully it continues to sound good throughout the show – and perhaps we might even see Chief without the helmet?

The TV show and the games are part of separate “timelines”, so the events in the show won’t affect the game’s storylines. The show’s creators have dubbed it the “silver timeline”.

The Halo TV series release date isn’t too far away. Are you excited to watch the show? Let us know on social media!
