The famous Halo icon Craig has has a pretty incredible makeover in Halo Infinite.
For those unaware, Craig became a meme after the first Halo Infinite campaign demo in 2020. Viewers noticed a particular enemy in the game who stood out, and perhaps not in a good way.
This enemy, part of the brute species players will fight in Infinite, was dubbed “Craig” and quickly rose to internet fame on account of his rather amusing looks.
Recently, 343 Industries gave us a look at the new and improved Craig, and he’s had one hell of a glow-up.

New and Improved
But Craig isn’t all that 343 has shown us recently. In a blog post, the company gave us more information about Halo Infinite’s campaign. They also revealed some high quality renders of new and returning enemies, weapons and friendly marines.
Furthermore, the post mentions new “Spartan Killers”, who are boss-like enemies the player will encounter in Infinite. These enemies are particularly tough, and each have their own unique abilities and “battle trophies”. This could suggest we get some kind of reward for killing them, like weapons or armour.
Could Craig become a boss in Infinite? It’s unlikely, but players can find out when Halo Infinite launches on December 8th.
