343 Industries has already given a response to players who are concerned about the way the battle pass has been implemented in Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite was released early on November 15th to celebrate Halo’s 20th Anniversary. Players are quickly falling in love with its gameplay, but one big issue with the battle pass is sticking out.
The progression through the battle pass is very slow, and players are finding it too difficult to level up. The challenges required to gain XP are too hard and don’t reward enough XP, and there is no regular per-match XP system.
How Did 343 Respond?
Brian “ske7ch” Jarrard, 343’s Community Manager, took to Twitter to address the concerns.
In the tweet he says “the team is looking at Battle Pass progression and gathering data from yesterday’s sessions and we’ll share updates as we have them. Please continue to share feedback and raise flags as you see them.“
This is definitely good news for Halo Infinite players. 343 Industries have been quick to respond to feedback after the technical flights for the game earlier this year. A quick response here should be a good sign that the team is going to be working on improvements.
Despite how enjoyable many are finding the game to be, a proper progression system is definitely lacking. Hopefully 343 will address the issue properly and give the players what they want.
