European PS4 Pre-Orders are Not Guaranteed after August 6th


UK retailers has just been informed by Sony that PS4 Pre-Orders are no longer guaranteed on the launch date after August 6th.

Eurogamer has confirmed that retailers such as Amazon and ShopTo are a few of sellers who has informed their consumers of the news.

ShopTo has released a statement on their website, “Sony have confirmed all PlayStation 4 pre-orders placed from 6th August will now not be guaranteed for launch. You can still pre-order PS4 with us in case we receive cancellations and can fulfill your order for launch.”

Amazon has even posted , “Please note – due to high demand, orders placed for the PlayStation 4 console from 6th August may be received after release date. We will ship orders as soon as we receive sufficient inventory.”

When asked about the matter, ShopTo mentions that the shortage may apply to all European retailers that are selling the PS4, and the statement came straight from Sony themselves.
