DICE has recently revealed that server rentals for Battlefield 4 will be coming soon to consoles. This is already a possibility for PC owners and an option for Battlefield 3 owners for both PC and console. Now those who have been waiting for the feature to open up for their consoles with the latest FPS from DICE can now rest easy though we can’t say for sure when the option will open up.
News comes from the Battlelog where Electronic Arts representative stated the following.
“Indeed, it is coming. I’m afraid we don’t have any information on this quite yet, but it is coming soon!”
Looks like we’re in the dark right now in terms of a release date. By renting a server for Battlefield 4 on either the console or PC, several options open up to you. For example, you can make the server private and only let select players on, there’s also options to kick, ban and mute players while game modes are completely up to you. Select which maps will be played along with other game rules that DICE has allowed to be configured. When the servers are released for renting you can be sure that we’ll let you know.
