Publisher Bethesda Softworks has announced that more than 20 million copies of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been sold since November 2011 when the game was first launched.
As per the report of Gamespot, this announcement was done through a press release by Bethesda. It is still unclear whether the numbers of actual sells to consumers or copies shipped to retailers.
For every fan of Skyrim this comes as no surprise that this game counts as the highest sold Elder Scrolls game ever till now.
The game received multiple Game of the Year awards by several gaming websites and is also included in Amazon UK’s best selling games list.
