Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

Lost Planet had potential. It really did. However, terrible, emotionless voice acting and incredibly poor translations soiled what could have been an enjoyable third-person shooter experience.

The fights were excellent and the gameplay overall was solid, but a dismal story coupled with the problems mentioned above really ruined Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Somehow, this title sold 2.8 million copies.

Kinect Adventures

Ah, the Xbox Kinect. It was a great idea in theory, but the technology available at the time just wasn’t good enough to make the Xbox add-on a viable gaming option. However, despite the failures of the Kinect, one of its titles sold incredibly well- Kinect Adventures. In fact, it sold 24 million copies.

It’s pretty crazy considering that the game itself was very barebones, repetitive, and outright boring at times. The minigames were very limited and had close to 0 replay value. After just an hour or so of playing this terrible game, there were no reasons to go back and play more.
