What a time to be alive, Phil Spencer finally announced backwards compatibility was happening with your Xbox 360 games, which we loved. He also announced that you had to already own the games or buy them through a 360 console, that wasn’t such a awesome news.
Well, since we hate to disappoint, as of today, you can officially buy and play all 360 games from your Xbox One.

And since we are the gift that just keeps on giving, we’ll even tell you that the new system update, which of course includes the ability to purchase backwards compatible games also includes some other equally, ok not equally, but cool in their own right things, such as party chat now being able to support up to 16 players, when streaming to Twitch, you can broadcast your party’s chat and videos can now been played straight from the “Feed” tab.

Providing your console is set to instant on, the update will be making itself known to you pretty soon so it’s time to get thinking of which titles to pick up. Don’t know which ones are about to become available? Well check out the list we compiled for you – we really do spoil you.
Full list of Xbox One Backward Compatible Games
Here’s the complete list of available Xbox 360 games that are currently backward compatible on your Xbox One. What better, like mentioned before, you can now purchase any of these titles directly rather than having to pre-own Xbox 360 copies of them.
