Watch Dogs Has Gone Gold

Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world video game that is highly anticipated is now officially gold. Watch Dogs will no longer be subject to anymore sudden delays which means you gamers out there can expect the game to launch on-time with no interruptions. Although the long wait times and lines will still likely to be present during the midnight launch, sorry.

Watch Dogs gold announcement was made by creative director Jonathan Morin which he made the reveal through Ubisoft’s blog. The announcement made note that gamers won’t see any more delays as the game is printing and shipping for the May 27, 2014 release date. That’s mere weeks away and I know there’s quite a few eager gamers looking to get their hands on this masterpiece.

Although, Jonathan Morin did state that even though Watch Dogs has gone gold, it doesn’t mean that work is quite finished for the Ubisoft development team.

“It’s exciting to be gold. But it’ll be more exciting when people are playing. For the fans it means that it’s true. It means there will be no such thing as another delay. But for us, it’s not done until they actually have it in their hands.”

Once again, Watch Dogs will Launch May 27, 2014 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and a Wii U release heading later this year.
