The trailer for George R R Martin’s new Netflix show just dropped.
Called Nightflyers, the space voyage sci-fi horror series – based on Martin’s novella of the same name – is being made by US broadcaster Syfy, but will also be available to viewers in UK and Ireland on Netflix.
The premiere date is February 1, so we have plenty of time to get our teeth into this before the final season of Game of Thrones premieres on April 14.

The synopsis reads: “With humankind’s future at stake, a group of scientists and a powerful telepath venture into the void aboard a spaceship full of secrets.”
In terms of cast, so far we know Miranda Raison, Gretchen Mol and Eoin Macken are all involved.
