The Book of Boba Fett is seriously starting to ramp up as Episode 6 revived a fan favourite character from The Clone Wars series.
It seems ironic that the best episodes of Book of Boba Fett have included little of the titular character. Episode 5 saw The Mandalorian return along with several other characters. Other cameos were teased, but fans weren’t prepared for a certain character to show up this week. Fans of The Clone Wars show were ecstatic to see bounty hunter Cad Bane make his live action debut.
Who is Cad Bane?
Cad Bane is a bounty hunter that was especially active during the Clone War era. Often seen in the employment of Jabba the Hutt, he was the cause of several acts of scum and villainy in the era of the Republic. All of this is available to watch in the seven epic season of The Clone Wars. Dave Filoni, the co-writer of Boba Fett, was also the lead writer on The Clone Wars.
Cad Bane was last seen facing off against Fennec Shand. After Shand escaped, Bane was left stranded on the planet Bora Vio, We now know that he must have made it off world. He’s now working for the Pyke Syndicate on Tattooine. He doesn’t seem best pleased with Boba Fett’s meddling. Hopefully, we’ll get to see Shand and Bane face off against each other once more.
