It’s only natural to get a little frustrated with online games sometimes. The odd swear. Maybe even a jovial slap of the knee. But have you ever gotten so riled that you’ve punched a fist-sized hole in your desk? That’s exactly what streamer ‘Snuffles’ managed to achieve in a fit of Overwatch-fuelled rage.
While streaming a match on the map Gibraltar, Snuffles was engaged in a one on one fight with an enemy Doomfist. With the match running out of overtime, their opponent escapes and the team suffers a loss.
With an eloquent cry of “F*ck you, you f*cking b*tch!”, Snuffles completely loses their cool and launches into an all-out attack on their desk.
The camera falls from its perch so we can’t see exactly what’s going on, but it doesn’t sound pretty. In fact, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say Snuffles had busted out some power tools.

While we can’t see the damage as it happens, we do know the fate of the unfortunate furniture. Snuffles eventually shared an image of the aftermath with several pieces of tape holding together a sorry-looking desk. They had managed to hit the desk so hard that they almost cleaved it in two.
What’s especially funny is that the streamer had advertised their twitch channel just a few hours previously with the caption, “NO RAGE I WILL NOT GET ANGRY TODAY HAVING A FUN DAY! :)”. It turned out that Snuffles was not, in fact, having a ‘fun day’.
Elsewhere in the Twitch-sphere, other streamers are advocating for people to feel less bad about playing games on easy mode. Looking back at some of Snuffles other clips, it certainly sounds as though they could do with kicking back to a calm, relaxing game.
