Could this also mean that the upcoming game announcement would be multiplayer only? The domains definitely raises that question and such a move might not go down too well with the majority of the gaming community, but might make sense for the company considering the huge success that GTA Online turned out to be.
However, it would make more sense for Rockstar to go the GTA Online way and include a standalone multiplayer component alongside a single player campaign.
This would ensure no one is pissed off while also paving the way for Rockstar Games to make huge revenue utilizing the online aspect of the game.
Rockstar is due to make an official announcement soon and expect another tease or a full reveal later today. This new information definitely makes the wait all the more interesting.
