Ryan Reynolds Insists Deadpool Isn’t In Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness

Ryan Reynolds is insistent that Deadpool is definitely not in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, though he doesn’t leave us totally convinced.

Fans have been speculating on character introductions for Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness ever since the trailer dropped last week. One such theory is that Deadpool appears on the poster for Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness and will thus be in the movie, but that appears to have been debunked in a Variety interview.

While that may seem a complete and utter rug-pull in many ways, it’s not quite as far-fetched as you may think. The trailer for Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness seems to have the voice of Patrick Stewart’s Professor Charles Xavier, from the Fox X-Men movies. If it’s actually him, this means all bets are off in terms of who could appear in the movie and who could be in the MCU going forward.

Ryan Reynolds stated the following: “I’m really not in the movie. I’m promising, I’m not in the movie.” Reynolds also has something small to say about the upcoming and currently in development Deadpool 3.

“It’s coming along,” he says cryptically.

Next month, Reynolds has a film releasing entitled The Adam Project. It centres around a time-travelling pilot who teams up with his younger self and his late father to save the future and unravel a mystery.
