According to a recent report by MCV, new Zelda, Mario and Pokemon games will be introduced for Nintendo’s upcoming console Nintendo NX within just six months of its launch.

The fans had always expected both Mario and Zelda titles to be brought in to the console, but the Pokemon game came in as a sweet surprise. They are now wondering which Pokemon title Nintendo is going to bring to NX.

There are possibilities that the new Pokemon game might be a spin-off title from original games like Pokemon Stadium or Pokemon Tournament. There are also reports that the game is being developed by Game Freak and is already in development.

However, if Game Freak is the developer of the Pokemon game for Nintendo NX too, it would not be easy for them to release the game within a couple of months after launching Pokemon Sun and Moon in November. MCV, on the other hand some explanations.

According to MCV, the possibilities could be:

  • An enhanced version of Sun and Moon as an NX exclusive is being developed by Game Freak currently.
  • A remade version of the evergreen Red and Blue versions can well be on the cards if they turn to the main series once again.
  • A remade version of the FireRed and LeafGreen versions of the game, which was launched around twelve years ago. This would actually be a good time for Nintendo to turn to these titles.

Although none of the above possibilities can be confirmed yet, we can assume that the original Pokemon Red and Blue versions have a greater chance of making a comeback to the scene with the upcoming Nintendo NX.
