If you’ve completed Red Dead Redemption 2 then you probably know all about the ramblings of the camp’s Reverend Swanson, including his tall tales and warnings about the Ghost of Agnes Dowd, otherwise known as the Lemoyne swamp ghost.

Although the camp is pretty quick to laugh-off any and all of Reverend Swanson’s stories, there’s actually some truth to this spooky tale.
If you head down to the Lemoyne swamps in the western part of Bluewater Marsh then you can actually host your own ghost-hunt – as long as it’s between the hours of 9pm and 3pm (in-game, obviously).

If you’re lucky (or unlucky) enough, you can hear the sounds of a woman crying hysterically, and following the sounds will lead you to the Ghost of Agnes Dowd herself.
Agnes appears as glowing figure dressed in white, and if you keep your distance yet still follow her, you’ll be able to see her live out her last moments, showing you thing like how she died.
Check out the video below to see her for yourself.

According to ComicBook, you can discover Agnes Dowd’s ghost a total of 16 times before she’ll disappear from the game forever. Each of the 16 times will give you a different encounter and different dialogue.

Rockstar Games’ latest title is being praised by basically everyone, with fans and critics loving the attention to detail, never-ending side-quests and absolutely huge world.

Along with nice little touches like the Ghost of Agnes Dowd, the game’s also included nods to previous Rockstar titles, including Bully, and – of course – Red Dead Redemption.
