Mojang is currently bringing the popular video game Minecraft to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Today we’re getting a little more information on the process and what we can expect in terms of past created worlds. If you’ve spent hours on end to even days building a masterpiece for Minecraft on the PlayStation 3, you will be able to bring that saved data over onto the PlayStation 4.
Announced at the PlayStation Blog, Mojang’s Owen Hill has revealed that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita is currently in development but it’s simply just taking a bit more time to develop. Also, your past world creations will be able to transfer over onto the PlayStation 4 and possibly the PlayStation Vita.
“The plan is to enable users to transfer from PS3 to PS4. We’re still working out how it’ll work with the Vita version.”
A cross-buy and an upgrade options are also in the works. However, there’s no word on when the game will be available but with E3 just around the corner, we may get details on such release and options during the expo.
