The players of Pokemon GO need to find wild Pokemon by walking around their neighborhoods. They also needs to battle gym leaders or stop at PokeStops (which are actually landmarks) to collect items.
The players who lives in bigger cities have the luxury of having access to a lot of PokeStops and gyms. Meanwhile, in New York City, players have discovered that even Trump Tower functions as a gym. Trump Tower is 58-story skyscraper which belongs to US presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The players are allowed to visit the Trump Tower and battle Pokemon to claim the gym as their own. With the American Republican presidential candidate heating up the news almost every other day, we can definitely hope to see some hotly contested gym battles among Pokemon GO players in his property.
This is not the first time that Donald Trump has been directly or indirectly involved in a video game. Earlier, a fan made a Trump Propaganda video out of the trailer of Mass Effect 2, which was later pulled out by developer EA. Another game called Surgeon Simulator received an expansion which lets the players to perform surgeries on Donald Trump.

There has already been an outcry regarding the use of Trump Tower in Pokemon GO as it can bring in some attention to the presidential candidate and can help him in his political campaign to some extent.
A lot of people have already suggested to the developer of the game, Niantic, to move the gym from Trump Tower to some other skyscraper which doesn’t have any political affiliation.
It is also surprising why Niantic chose to make the Trump Tower a gym, even they avoided a lot of commercial landmarks. They have generally used neutral public locations like churches and libraries for gyms and PokeStops, minus a few exceptions which also include the Trump Tower.

Pokemon GO is now available for Android and iOS devices.
