Disney has released a brand new trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi to celebrate May 4th, and it’s given us our first look at Darth Vader.
May the 4th Star Wars celebrations are well underway with fans across the world making their love for Star Wars known. Disney knows what’s good with the studio releasing a brand new trailer for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series releasing later this month.

Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi
The series is set between Episode III and IV of the Star Wars movies. It follows Obi-Wan Kenobi as he navigates hiding while keeping an eye on a young Luke Skywalker. As the Emporer’s Inquisitors continue to hunt Jedi across the galaxy, it seems that Kenobi isn;t in for an easy ride.
In Star Wars canon, the Inquisitors are led by the iconic Darth Vader. We knew that we might be getting a potential rematch between Vader and Kenobi, and we’ve finally gotten a first glimpse of what Vader will look like in the new show.
In a series of short clips, we see a sufficiently burned and blistered Vader having parts of his armour attached. Once the final chest piece is in place, his breathing apparatus spurs up in the usual wheezy breath.

Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Darth Vader, so it will be exciting to see how the chemistry between him and McGregor has evolved since Revenge of the Sith in 2005. The six-part series premieres on Disney+ on May 27th. Will you be watching? Let us know across our social channels.
