No Man’s Sky news was been teased by the developer Hello Games on Twitter for the last couple of days. The secret was finally revealed yesterday, and much to the delight of the fans, the game has officially gone gold.
‘Gone gold’ means the game has completed its development process and is completely ready for launch. This will mean that it won’t take much longer to get our hands on the open world survival video game. The game, which according to BBC, ‘stole the show’ at E3 2014, is one of the mostly anticipated titles of this year.

Sean Murray, the founder of Hello games, tweeted, “It’s happened. No Man’s Sky just went gold. I’m so incredibly proud of this tiny team. 4 years of emotions.”

The game was actually planned to release in June, but had to be pushed back to August due to some internal issues. Although the game’s release was delayed only for six weeks, there were a lot of fools who triggered death threats to the Hello Games team.

No Man’s Sky is scheduled to release on August 9 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
