Netflix is probably the best to place to get original content that can’t be beaten, with the streaming giant pretty much always bringing out shows and movies that get everyone talking.
Their latest offering, a horror starring Sandra Bullock, is no exception.

Bird Box is the apocalyptic tale of a pregnant woman named Malorie (Sandra Bullock) and her mission to survive after an unknown force begins to cause mass suicide when its victims lay eyes on it.
The description reads: “When a mysterious force decimates the population, only one thing is certain — if you see it, you die. The survivors must now avoid coming face to face with an entity that takes the form of their worst fears. Searching for hope and a new beginning, a woman and her children embark on a dangerous journey through the woods and down a river to find the one place that may offer sanctuary. To make it, they’ll have to cover their eyes from the evil that chases them — and complete the trip blindfolded.”

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their own opinions on the movie, with many saying it’s the most ‘terrifying thing’ they’ve ever seen.

Watched #BirdBox last night and can’t stop thinking about it. Really amazing film. The speed society broke down when faced with an existential threat was terrifying. It was like Hobbes said: we are only ever one step away from his “state of nature”. Scary. #ClimateEmergency
