The success of Marvel and Insomniac Games’ PlayStation 4 exclusive Spider-Man, means any future game bearing the Marvel name has got some pretty huge boots to fill.

But when it comes to creating AAA games that focus on creating worlds, immersing the player and providing some seriously in-depth lore and stories, you can almost always rely on Blizzard.
Ex-Blizzard developers who have formed their own company, Second Dinner, have confirmed that they’re going to be creating a brand-new Marvel game, and it’s seriously exciting news.

In a press release on its website, Second Dinner joking confirmed the following:
“Second Dinner Declares that it is Now ‘A Real Company’ Because They Have Moved Into an Actual Office, Raised $30M, and Partnered With Marvel on a New Game.”
Second Dinner was created by former Hearthstone Game Director Ben Brode and former Hearthstone Executive Producer Hamilton Chu.
I don’t know if y’all know about Blizzard but if you’ve seen Diablo series or Overwatch then you know Marvel made a power move there

Unfortunately, that’s all we know for now but fingers crossed we’ll get to see something this year…
Over on Twitter people are already speculating on what the project might be, wondering whether it’s going to be an MMO or a Hearthstone-style project.
New Partnership between Marvel and @seconddinner, a studio founded by Ex-Blizzard employees if I’m not mistaken. It’s definitely gonna be interesting to see where this leads, maybe some sort of Marvel MMO, or a smaller project similar to Hearthstone #Marvel #Blizzard

The new company’s huge cash injection, along with a partnership with Marvel, spells nothing but good news for the start-up. Are you excited for what they have to offer? What would you like to see?
