New Halo Infinite Game Modes And Challenges Are Live – Here They Are!

A new Halo Infinite update has dropped, adding new game modes and a new set of challenges to complete.

The game modes being introduced are Team Slayer, Free-for-All, Tactical Slayer (SWAT) and Fiesta. Fans have been asking for more variety and for these classic playlists to return, so it’s nice to see them back.

Originally, 343 planned to add more experiences to the Slayer playlist, which is why it was delayed. However, they heard fans desires for a standard playlist and added it with the rest of them.

Tactical Slayer is the new version of SWAT. This is an old game type where players have no shields, no radar and come equipped with Battle Rifles. Fiesta also returns after the Fracture: Tenrai event, and this time it’s here to stay.

Challenge Changes

New challenges are also in, including double XP for ranked challenges. These new challenges require you to win or complete matches in the ranked playlist. Don’t bother using your challenge skips if you don’t like ranked, as they can only be replaced by more ranked challenges.

Some other challenges include achieving a certain score across games, which you get by simply playing the game. There are also challenges for playing games in the new playlists.

Unfortunately, Big Team Battle matchmaking is still having issues. Hopefully 343 can get on that soon as people are having trouble finding matches.
