LittleBigPlanet 3 will have a much more inclusive experience when it comes to creating levels within the game. Sarah Wellock, Sony XDev Studios Europe, spoke with DigitalSpy as to how gamers will easily jump from gameplay to create mode without taking too big of a jump.
Sarah Wellock mentions that in past installments of LittleBigPlanet 3, fans voiced their opinions on the create mode. Feedback showed that the players found it tough to go from player to creator and thus the third main installment to the LittleBigPlanet franchise would solve that.
There’s a lot more integration of Create mode within the single player campaign. We wanted to make it much more accessible. The feedback we’ve had previously has been [that] the leap from player to creator was too big… We want to try and make it as inclusive an experience as possible.
Though the creative options, players will get familiar using these tools during the actual game. For instance, players will use different creation tools in-order to solve puzzles within each level. Hopefully though the use of these tools within the game, players will have an overall easier experience when creating levels of their own.
LittleBigPlanet 3 is set to release sometime this November for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
