The first round of PlayStation VR games has been unveiled, consisting of 4 titles. The games are available to view and pre-order now from the PlayStation Store, and should give fans a good idea of what to expect in terms of prices, games, and what VR means for the future of PlayStation.
The 4 games and their respective prices* as confirmed so far are as follows:
- PlayStation VR Worlds: $44.99 / £34.99/ €39.99
- Rigs Mechanized Combat League: $59.99 / £54.99/ €59.99
- Tumble VR: $11.99 /£7.99/€9.99
- Until Dawn: Rush of Blood: $22.99 / £15.99/ €19.99
*US prices are rough estimates based on exchange rates.
You’ll be able to grab and play all of the above come October 13th when PlayStation VR officially launches.

However, these are only the games that have confirmed release dates and prices – there are many more expected to come on PlayStation VR at some point or another, and they’ll offer a wide variety and range of experiences that the confirmed 4 may not.
For example, horror fans (and particularly, Resident Evil fans) will be excited to know that the upcoming Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will be VR compatible. Adventure fans can look forward to Dead Bug Creek, a VR title that takes inspiration from the Psychonauts art style.
And if you’d like to play golf in 100 foot robots, then you can do that too in the fittingly titled 100ft Robot Golf. For PlayStation VR, the possibilities are virtually endless.

In terms of the actual headset itself, it’s going to set you back a fair bit if you want your piece of the action. The headset will set you back $399 in the US, €399 in Europe, £349 in the UK, and $549 in Australia.
For those picking up the console along with the headset, you’ll be looking at a considerably higher amount in order to enjoy PlayStation VR, and that isn’t taking into account the games and apps you’ll be shelling out post-release. And don’t forget – a PlayStation Camera (sold separately) will be required to use VR, and the PlayStation Move Controller is supposed to significantly enhance your experience.

Keep an eye on Fraghero throughout the week for all the best from E3 and more.
