Lord Of The Rings Show Characters Teased In A Series Of New Posters

Characters from Amazon’s upcoming show Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been teased in a series of new posters.

The posters were released to promote the show, which is expected to premiere on September 2nd. The show will be a Amazon Prime Video exclusive, and follows an entirely new cast.

Fans of the books and films have been anxiously awaiting new information, and we’ve finally got a glimpse of some of the characters set to appear in the show. The posters all follow a similar theme – they’re pictures taken close to the character’s hands/chest, and they’re all holding some kind of object.

Who’s In The Posters?

Eagle-eyed fans are already trying to work out which characters from Tolkien’s fantasy stories show up in the posters. The only character confirmed so far is Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark. But some of the posters resemble characters or groups we are already familiar with.

One of the posters resembles Sauron quite closely, and it’s very likely he will be a part of the story. One of the posters hints at a Dwarf character, with a big beard and hands resting on some kind of hammer or pickaxe. Others seem to be hinting at elves and hobbits, but we don’t have any real confirmation who they could be.

One thing’s for sure though, the costume and prop design looks immaculate. If this is how things are going to look in the show, we could be in for a visual treat.
