A brand new gameplay trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has just dropped. It showcases all of the brand new features that the upcoming game will include with plenty of enhancements since the last LEGO Star Wars games. It’s certainly set to be the biggest and most impressive LEGO game to date!
This new title will span across all nine of the Skywalker saga movies. You can choose to start with either prequel, original, or sequel trilogies. With a semi-open world structure, you can explore planets to your hearts content. Side missions now accompany the level structure, so it looks like there’s plenty to do and see in this new LEGO game.
Combat controls have been completely overhauled. There’s now counter-moves for you to master, and blasters can be freely aimed with a new third person camera mode. Each character now has a skill tree, too. With over 300 unique characters to unlock, there’s bound to be plenty of progression.
When is the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga release date?
So when is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga set to release? The game has been delayed several times, but is now set to release on April 5th 2022. That’s just a few months away!
A feature that fans will most likely welcome is the return of mumble mode. Veteran LEGO fans might remember the old LEGO games in which each character mumbled instead of having proper voice lines. While the game will be fully voiced by default, you can make the characters mumble again, just like old times.
