Ever since the PS4 has been made known, Sony has been going out its way to gain more feedback by letting game developers test their new console. A very important aspect of the PS4 will the Dualshock 4 controller which has been receiving nothing but positive raves.
The accomplishment goes out to the PS4 designers who has been doing their research and will accept nothing but perfection.
The Lead Architect of the PS4 Mark Cerny says, “The controller was a very, very broad collaboration that went out to the game teams and even some of the third-party teams. We looked at everything we could put into the controller and solicited feedback from the teams on what we should include.”
“We went to key teams who make the best of the best and we got their specific feedback on trigger springiness, concavity or convexity of joysticks and deadzones, and tuned the controller through a succession of prototypes to what it is today. The result is we showed at E3 and I did not hear – and it’s a tough audience – I did not hear any negative feedback about the controller.”
By the looks of it, the PS4 controller does look like it has some kind of ergonomic design, which should be great for those who will be playing for hours. How do you fans portray the PS4 controller?
