The Gran Turismo documentary ‘KAZ: Pushing the Virtual Divide’ is a comprehensive look at Kazunori Yamauchi’s journey through six iterations of Gran Turismo in past 15 years. The film was premiered exclusively on streaming service Hulu yesterday.
Early this week, we gave you some scope about the film. The documentary has some beautiful camera work by Anthoony Arendt. And special mention should be given to me&john for their amazing selection of music for the film. I can’t wait to get our hands on some of the original music tracks used in the film and play it on repeat while going on for a leisure drive –Music is that good!
Overall the documentary does make you realize that the Gran Turismo simulation experience on PlayStation is more than just a video game. Mr. Yamauchi’s love for cars is indeed reflected and we appreciate that he gave all ‘car and game fanatics’ like me, a chance to experience dream cars and concept cars with near to perfection realism, without being heavy on our pockets. I recommend every car enthusiast to watch this documentary.
The film can be seen for free in Hulu which is only available in United States at this time. (it will be widely released on Sony Movie Channel, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, and Crackle starting February 5, 2014)
