Here’s The Full Pokemon Go Pokemon List – Most Common To The Rarest

Source: www.polygon.com

There are a total of 151 Pokemon that can be collected by the players in Pokemon Go. However, the rarity of these Pokemon varies and they fall under different categories ranging from Common to Legendary. The availability of Pokemon is also dependent on the geography and the climate of a particular region. Not every Pokemon will be available in every location.

We’ve compiled this list after conversing with several Pokemon masters from around the world where the game has launched. Keep in mind that rarity might vary based on region, and also based on where you live, but overall this list features Pokemon that are in general easier to find to the ones that are the hardest. It can be a good handbook to know overall how rare or common your captures are.

Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go

mewtwo-pokemon-go-timesquare

The legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go can’t be captured in the wild and don’t come with a ‘base capture rate’. It is not clear how these Pokemon can be captured yet, but the most popular theory doing the rounds is that Niantic would be holding ‘special raids’ where Pokemon masters would need to team up in order to capture them.

These can also be given out as special rewards to trainers that win battles or tournaments in future. Keep in mind, Niantic is yet to implement those and these are all mere speculations at this point.

Mythic Pokemon in Pokemon Go

Mew is the only mythical Pokemon present in the game and also can’t be found or captured in the wild. It’s possible similar events or tactics to capturing Legendary Pokemon would be employed by Niantic to allow trainers to capture Mew as well.

That’s it, like we said, this list should just be used as a reference point and rarity might vary depending on region and your location. However, it’s a pretty solid starting point to get a fair idea about your Pokemon capture.
