Halo Insiders will be able to dust off their Master Chief helmets, as Halo Infinite opens its doors in this weekend’s technical preview.
343 Industries has been allowing a select group of individuals in to try out Halo Infinite in a series of technical previews. The first saw a group of randomly selected players to fight against bots. The second kicked off last weekend, and was available to all Halo Insider users that registered.
However, 343 Industries is easing up restrictions to the Halo Infinite technical preview that launches this weekend. All of those that register through the Xbox Insider app will be able to take part between October 1st and 3rd.
GEAR UP, SPARTANS
The openness of the latest technical preview was announced on the official Halo Twitter account. It announced “Halo Insider or not, you can join [in] on the action“.
The opening of the gates is perfectly timed, as Big Team Battle will launch this weekend. It will allow larger teams to face off in bigger maps with the addition of vehicles. Having tried out the more tight-knit multiplayer last weekend, I cannot wait to try out BTB. Along with BTB players should be able to check out a newly revealed map.
With the game’s launch scheduled for December 8th, the technical preview will be a good change to hype up skeptical players. And if it tickles your fancy, you can also start stocking up on select Pringles tubes, to earn double XP for launch.
Halo Infinite seems to be hitting the right notes for both new and old fans of the series. You can easily sign up and download the technical preview now through the Xbox Insider App. The preview will then run from October 1st to 3rd.
