Halo Infinite Players Are Replacing The Intro Screen With Shrek Videos

If you’re someone who has grown tired of watching the same intro every time you load your favourite games, this Halo Infinite skip might come in handy.

When loading Halo Infinite, you’re subjected to a fairly lengthy intro before you can play. This isn’t the biggest issue in the world of course, but it can be a bit tedious.

However, if you’re playing on Steam, there’s a way to actually skip the game’s intro entirely. Jason Lamb posted his discovery on Twitter, showing that the game’s intro can be removed or replaced with something else. Apparently, the loading screen is just an easily replaceable video that doesn’t take much effort to mess around with.

And yes, you can even replace the intro with something else entirely. If you fancy being treated to a clip from Shrek every time you play then look no further.

How Do You Do It?

First off, you’ll need to load Steam and select properties after right clicking on Halo Infinite. Select Local Files, then Browse, find the folder titled “videos” and delete the MP4 called “intro”.

If you want, you can add another MP4 in its place. Whatever your heart desires can be your new Halo Infinite intro, so go wild.

I’d recommend making a backup in case you ever want to re-use the old intro, or it might cause problems later.
