Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer secrets you failed to notice

A brand new trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 was released by Marvel a couple of days ago. The trailer shows off new space battles and also baby Groot wearing a Jacket.

The one minute and twenty six second long trailer has a lot of hidden details which you would have definitely missed in your first viewing.

If you haven’t paid close attention, you would definitely have not noticed the monster hiding in plain sight. At around twenty five second mark, when Gamora gets battle ready, she runs up a ramp which is twisting and turning.

If you pay attention, you will be able to find out that she is actually running on a tentacle which belongs to the monster called Abilisk. Abilisk is the same monster which was teased in the concept art which was published in the Empire Magazines April issue.

Another thing you might have missed is the arrow of Yondu going past a few floating guards and Rocket blasting through a stone wall. The incident occurs at about twenty nine second mark in the trailer.

This could mean that both Yondu and Rocket have teamed up for their separate mission. There is also a shot of Nebula in the video where she can be seen with the bag being removed from her head. This could suggest that both Yondu and Rocket are breaking her out of the prison.

We also felt like we got a glimpse of the movie’s biggest new character, Ego the living planet. The part where Star Lord and the crew can be seen walking through a forest can be a section of Ego, where they could have crash landed.
