Game-breaking No Man’s Sky Glitch gives you unlimited items, ruins the game

If there is a way to exploit a game, players are bound to find it. The newly released and highly anticipated game No Man’s Sky already has players finding ways to cheat the system for their own personal benefit.

Apparently players in the game are duplicating items. This is sure to be something that gets fixed in a future patch, but for now, if you’re one of those players that has a burning desire to exploit the system, it’s available to abuse. Game essentials and even rare items can be duplicated using this glitch, and it’s actually quite simple to do.

Here’s how it works, according to Eurogamer:

“Upon death in your ship, No Man’s Sky allows you to claim back your ship’s inventory from your grave marker. But by reloading a previous save you can get your inventory back plus access to the grave as well, doubling whatever you had at the time.”

This definitely takes some of the fun out of the game, and essentially it can heavily speed up the process of finishing it. However, No Man’s Sky wasn’t designed to be a rush-to-the-end game. Take a breather, look around, and enjoy the game for what it is.

But if you really insist on cheating the system, you can watch the video below.
