The Game Awards 2018 is officially over, but we’ve got so many games to get excited about, and one of the most-hyped games to come from the event is none other than Mortal Kombat 11.

The eleventh instalment in the Mortal Kombat franchise looks gory AF if the trailer is anything to go by, and fans are ridiculously excited for its release.
Over on Twitter people claimed the reveal was the thing that “saved” TGA this year – especially since the trailer even gave us a release date.

The official description for the game reads: “Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise.
“The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own.
“The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.”
